As for it being legal, I suppose its sexual harrassment, which is obviously illegal, but whether anyone would take legal action over something like this is another matter.

Btw for all those who don't think this is a crime- it is, no matter what your motives are. If you touch someone without their consent (save for the daily unavoidable touching like on a crowded bus, accidentally brushing past on the street etc) it is considered assault. In a law lecture I heard about one guy who got prosecuted for touching the hem of a woman's skirt.

Saw a dude get glassed in the face one night after he grabbed a girls ass. One minute he was happy go lucky and showing off to his mates, having a laugh, next minute he was crying like a child and trying to hold his face together.

Felt pretty bad for him as yeah, he was being a ****ing tool...but the girl glassing him was a step too far.

Moral of the story is it's a risk. Even if she doesn't do anything a male friend or boyfriend might just punch you in the mouth.

Plus, doing it makes you a ****ing tool anyways.

I will stand by what I said; that most guys would have a pretty passive attitude towards a grab of their ass by a woman. I'm not saying that all guys would take this stance, or that its right that a woman would do this, but do you really think the general attitude towards this type of thing is gender equal?
