What's the furthest (farthest?) you've walked home drunk?

I walked home from Conway's on Parnell St. one night to Ballinteer. It made me realise that walking from Parnell St. is not the same as walking from Charlemont St.

I doubt it's my record, as I walked (read barged) straight home. Head down, and furious with myself, for blowing my taxi fare on two more delicious (sweet,sweet can Homer drool) pints.

My record, is probably from Tipperary (please don't ask) walking a girl home, and then having to double back (I thought I was in:().

But, it's possible, my best ever was "chasing the dragon".

i.e. walking the length and breadth of Dublin because I'd convinced myself that a certain Chinese take-away stayed open 24 hours.:o

So, AHers. What's the stupidest amount of miles you've ever gone?

Marathons for charity don't count.

It was cold then

took me about 4 hours

Last december, i walked from Blackrock to killiney, in the snow when they canceled the busses. took me 4 hours to get home in the snow
