I'd say it would be cool enough for a look. It's about time there was a late night social scene for the non drinkers in Ireland too.

Going to a restaurant just for the soft drinks and tea,
Which by the way are extortionate at these places anyway,
If I went to one I'd be bringing an f'in hamper/cooler box, giving the barman/maid the V's when they start glaring,
Especially if I paid €10 to get in there,
I'd get my money's worth from the personalized jukebox there as well!

I can imagine someone deliberately doing it ... telling all the mates there's this cracking nightclub in Dublin. Gets them in and tells them to get him a beer ... they get to the bar and then they go apeshít.

i can see this going 1 of 2 ways

1) a bunch of people who like shoving it in your face about not drinking getting together and filling the place with smug

2) a place where 15-17 year olds show up to absolutely trashed, sneak in naggins and get more trashed

It will be another watered-down club (excuse the pun) that wont differentiate itself from other clubs other than it doesn't sell alcohol. It will play ****ty chart music that you can just listen to on the radio 50 times a day on repeat. I'm sure they'll get some cheesy DJ in that will spout out some stupid **** like "taking through til half two" - cringe.

Clubs in Ireland have to be the most backwards non progressive early closing ****holes in all of Europe. You want to do something for the economy?

Let clubs open all night, people will come for that. And no, they don't have to be clubs that attract scum. There are thousands of us who enjoy going out late and staying up til early hours but there's nowhere to do it.

Anyway, I'm not interested in hearing about new clubs, they're all crap here. Backwards little island nation we live on.

Was good craic. Stayed open till bout 6.30 I think. Not sure as I was outta my bin. Coulda stayed open later.
