Never done this but sure its been a while since the last good one which was last summer...

there was face lickings, alcahol and even women. ( i know women)

I here bye propose we of AH and other forums have what only could be discribed as a beers.

I propsoe that we have it in middle to late july gives people from all over the country to sort them selves out with hotel rooms etc (no excuse i will berate insult and other wise make fun of those who do not attend) the more people the better if its 5 people sitting in some dingy basement pub in there own little click yehaww thats like fun would much rather see mass messyness hugings and vomit

so yeah

Oh god no. I don't think this would be my scene. At least right now I don't feel compelled to agree with anyone on here. After you go for pints with someone, the trouble is that they might consider it to be quite poor form to not stick up for them, Or to disagree vehemently with them, or to form dim opinions of them or their opinions generally.

I noticed a beers event being suggested amongst moderators as well recently, and I just feel it is not an outlet that is necessarily likely to promote diverse opinion or unbiased debate. And it may even provoke perceptions of clique behavior (imo).
