As to the loudness was it shouting or just loud conversations? I've been in the place a few time and whilst not the classiest place in the world it seemed OK to me. We even saw the landlord cutting people off for having too much to drink so appears to be well ran.

It's the properties as investments that are for sale (the tenants renting them are unaffected). I do wonder how the pub is doing though. After a few visits when it first opened, I think I've been there just once in the last 12 months on a Friday night and it was quite empty ( I can only imagine what it's like on week nights). It's actually a nice pub visually, but there is just not enough of a draw factor for me. I guess many of my friends are scattered around Dublin so we just agree to all meet in city centre pubs to socialise as it's more convenient even though transport home is more awkward and expensive.
