I was invited to stay at a place that has this motto and I had to refuse. I didn't tell them, but it was because of the toilet situation. I mean, if I don't flush, everyone gets to see my urine. If I do flush, everyone knows I was pooing. Plus the hygiene considerations. Firstly splashes, which will be of multiple people's stagnant urine. Secondly, the smell, which is totally withstandable in a festival or temporary situation, but which is certainly not something you want to smell in your house on a daily basis. Put a brick in your cistern, or occasionally flush with rainwater, but leaving urine to "mellow" in your bathroom is just unnecessary.
