Ive been to her twice and shes a lovly woman who doesnt use cards just reads your fortune by holding your palm. The 2 times ive been to her shes been spot on and you get a lovly feeling from her. She doesnt take appointments u just knock at her door after 12 on a sat or anytime before 6 i think othertimes.Shes worth a visit

Went to see this lady today, I thought she was incredible, stuff just poured from her mouth, stuff she couldn't have known and she wasn't looking for reactions, I sat there in shock and probably missed out on one or two things I was so stunned. She is also a lovely old lady that tells it like it is. I was in there about 15 minutes and it cost 20 Euro......still shocked

Was there on the 11th June..she is still very much alive. I didnt go in but my 2 friends did and had mixed reviews, one was told some very specific things about her family , the other felt like she was being asked alot of questions and that her reaction was being gauged...

There isn't a phone number for her - you just turn up and hope for the best. I think she reads most days of the week.

Anyway, after all the talk about this lady, I decided to drive down and try out her reading for myself last weekend.

First things first, there's some sort of makeshift halting site (a few caravans and what-not) next-door to her house with loads of dogs barking, but the dogs were locked up.

I went through the front gate to the house (which was open - no padlock, as someone pointed out before), walked up a short path and knocked on the door. Bunny, a tiny elderly lady who looks about 80, came out and warmly welcomed me inside. I was led to sit down in a living room packed to the rafters with loads of groceries and religious pictures adorning the walls. The first thing was her telling me to place the €20 note in my upwards-facing palms and "wish for happiness" (a pet hate of mine when it comes to these types actually).

Then she just talked and came out with bits of info (which was mostly incorrect) for the rest of the 25 minutes. When I'd tell her that such-and-such a thing was incorrect, she'd quickly alter the info to 'fit'. For instance, she told me at one point that I was "very like my mother" looks-wise (God, no, in all fairness), but I said no. Then she was like, "But your energy is like hers." :rolleyes: She also said my mam was a domineering person (not at all). I said no and then she said, "Well, she could have been a domineering person if your father hadn't been like that, too." Another thing was that she even asked me to start with if my parents were still alive. Ffs, lol. I thought, "What the hell has all that got to do with me personally? What's the point of telling me that?"

She also said I had a serious accident two years ago that nearly killed me. No, not true. The rest of the reading was just her sort of guessing things about me, generalising for Ireland ("You'll have a very happy life"), and, again, quickly altering info when I disputed its veracity. All in all, I thought it was complete bollocks and I was very surprised really, considering the fairly substantial positive reviews that have been posted on here. Are people thick or what, like? Seriously?

I didn't regret seeing her or anything and giving her the €20 (she's a nice lady and I was pleased to find out the truth for myself), but her readings are crap. Overrated and exaggerated. Sorry.

hi mrmojorisin, i have to agree with you i honestly dont know where some of the glowing reviews on this board come from, your reading made me think of the famous joe gough and wow was that disappointing for me, i was really looking forward to the reading for a couple of months, he was so busy the only appt he had was at 8am :eek: all the way out to bloody ashbourne, 4 years ago. Similar to the ladys comments about you being in an accident, joe really upset me when he told me one of my organs was damaged, i was nearly in tears, of course after further examination not true, nothing he said was, but in fairness i suppose i hadnt been to many readers at that point. Its informative to hear about peoples positive and negative readings, tks

Yeah, I remember first reading about Joe Gough on here and all the reviews were all overwhelmingly positive, i.e "He was amazing", "He got everything spot on", etc. Then, after a while, less-than-glowing, and almost disturbing, reviews began to appear.

Similar to yourself, people being told very negative things - concerning either their past or future - by him that were blatantly untrue, and instilling unnecessary fear in people in the process. Also, stories about him being very rude or his wife being rude to people over the phone.

For a man that has the gall to charge €80 for a reading, he sounds like he's really full of sh*t. When he was first charging people €70, I thought that was alarming enough on its own (regardless of what his readings were supposedly like), but then he upped it to €80 and I thought "f**k." Is it true he's charging people €85 these days?

I can't believe he gave you an appointment of 8am - you must have been up at the crack of dawn to go out there. Shocking. And it was highly irresponsible of him to tell you that one of your organs was damaged. I haven't even met this man and I don't like him. I don't want to him meet either.

But, getting back to Bunny O'Brien (the old lady in Ashbourne), she's nice but she's very shrewd and she barely takes her eyes off your face while she's doing the reading. Maybe she likes meeting people and all that (and the extra few quid is handy too, no doubt), but there's something undeniably calculating about how she does the reading. She's just cold reading, basically.

i suppose your lucky you never met joe, ive been around the block with readers and he was obnoxious, its like he was trying to insult me as well.. yes 8am i got a phone call from his wife the day before, she had a cancellation and i like a twit, jumped at the chance of an appt, i had to get a taxi to his house and it was in the middle of nowhere. I was so excited i couldnt sleep the night before ha, then came out totally speechless and worried, i cringe when i think of that now :eek: and there was 3 other people waiting in a car to see him. tk god i didnt go to him for healing. he has his own office in a cubicle opposite his house, quite a sophisticated operation for such a waffling chancer :cool: i enjoyed reading your post about Peter Matthews so im hoping to meet him soon.

Only made an appt with the girl because i kept reading about peoples amazing readings on this board, how anyone could think think this one is a medium is beyond me.. one begins to think is there pr going on here, or clever marketing... So i wont be attending another psychic or medium just based on glowing reviews, theres about 5 boardsies, you are one of them, that i know share their very genuine readings the positives and negatives, no hidden agendas.. What are they smoking up in Ashbourne? Caffeine joints? The only person who should be worthy of making an appointment for 8am is a doctor or another health specialist.

Oh God, a taxi out into the back arse of Ashbourne. At 7-8am. I can see why you're cringeing now, but I suppose you were more willing than usual to go out of your way to see him after being given a false impression of his, er, 'psychic greatness.'

Sure myself and a few friends did something similar with Carol Byrne before. We were given an appointment time of 11:30am but had to leave about three hours beforehand to get to Wexford town in time. They thought she was very good but I thought otherwise, tbh. She was charging €70 (I've heard she charges €80 now - that's a good one) but, to give the woman what little credit she deserves, she stopped the reading with me early on and didn't charge me. Still, we went on the lash there that night, so all was not lost.

I read about a woman driving for over four hours to get to Cobh in Cork to see the White Witch before, only for the W.W. to not show up at all.

Probably best to steer clear of those who are neglectful with appointment times and/or travelling long distances to see same (especially).

Yeah, well, he's a nice fella who I think is good at what he does. Another thing I liked about him was that he isn't 'complacent' about the mediumship thing. Like, he doesn't rest on his laurels.

He said before that he's "always learning" and, AFAIK, he's still running his open mediumship development circle alongside interested members of the public, as well as going over to that Arthur Findlay College in the UK for courses periodically.

Overall, I thought he had a positive attitude and that he seemed in touch with the real world and the people in it.

Is that Annette Singleton you're referring to? Nope, not a medium at all. I know the difference between a medium and a psychic based on first-hand experience and she is not a medium.

As I said, she didn't mention a thing about people I know/knew who are dead. There was no reference whatsoever to the afterlife throughout the 40 minutes I was with her.

My primary motivations for going to any of these people are curiosity and seeing if they live up to the hype. And I enjoy a surprise (good or bad).

Speaking of unpleasant surprises, I remember trying out this woman for a reading in Ballincollig, Cork, before after seeing a positive review about her on here. All I knew was that her first name was Chris. It may not have even been her real name.

After making an appointment, I turned up to this semi-detached house in the centre of a housing estate one evening and was greeted by a sweaty tank of a woman sporting a fiercesome look on her face. "Not good," I thought to myself.

She gruffly ushered me inside the house the way a Mexican drug cartel leader would haul a drug mule into their gaff before anyone saw anything. The woman wouldn't have looked out of place in that sort of operation actually.

As she led me upstairs, the tension from her was unreal and she seemed unnecessarily suspicious and/or paranoid. Basically, a complete nut, but I tried to make small talk regardless and decided I'd see how things would go.

She told me to sit down in this leather swivel chair in a room that had walls plastered with feckin' angel certificates belonging to her and there was sacred-type 'music' playing in the background that made Enya sound edgy.

This woman, who was sat opposite me about 8 feet away, then started waving her hands around as if she was icing a cake whilst fixing her eyes on me. I didn't know where to look and I was struggling to keep a straight face. "What are you doing?" I asked her. "I'm cleansing your aura," she told me.

I was really itching to leg it at this point but she was one seriously scary, aggressive woman. I've never met anyone like her.

Her daft hand-waving went on for about 10 more minutes, before she then proceeded to do an overwhelmingly vague angel card reading and used that as 'filler' for the rest of the time while, put it this way, she asked me more questions than she answered for me.

All in all, a load of sh*te, and getting out the door of that house was like breathing again. I don't know where that woman is lurking now, but I'm hoping it's the ape enclosure in Dublin Zoo..

I think there's a combination of PR and blind gullibility going on around here - some posters who are connected to the readers personally and who are promoting them, and ordinary folk who are easily duped.

I met a fair few people (the majority of whom were women, sorry to say) when I rolled along to those psychic/holistic fairs before, who I thought were too eager to 'believe'.

Fair enough, people are entitled to their beliefs, but some people go overboard with it. Listening to them talk about who they saw at the fair and what-not, they looked very 'starry eyed'.

I just reckon some people hear what they want to hear and become fixated on that alone to the exclusion of the reader's fundamental incompetence.

I do understand how people are looking for hope and answers to things that are troubling them, but idealism needs to be reined in.

Another basic thing is to just record the reading in order to soberly listen back to it later and see/hear it for what it really is.

Lol. Her stinky, dirty house is certainly an experience to remember! I'd say there are ample patches of the floor that have never had a view of the ceiling above them. The wonder that is Mr Sheen probably hasn't been inside there in 20-odd years either.

She should be charging for 'stink tours' instead.

Another potential goldmine for Bunny would be to hold a competition sponsored by Windolene or Mr Sheen, where competitors have to sit in her living room for as long as they can without keeling over from some grime-related infection.

Whoever's the last one standing/sitting wins a year's supply of Mr Sheen and a sh*te reading from Bunny (comic relief after the torment of being in her house, like).

Oh, and Bunny will be rewarded for opening her domestic landfill to the offended public by getting the place cleaned professionally.

Out of the readers you mentioned having seen, I've seen Carol Byrne and Dympna Hughes - Carol Byrne about three years ago, and Dympna back in February of this year.

I didn't think Carol was any good but, then, the reading didn't advance beyond 10 minutes because she stopped it prematurely when she realised she wasn't having any 'success' with me. The names of people I would supposedly know that she mentioned were completely unfamiliar. My friends thought she was very good though.

Dympna. I meant to post about her before. Yeah, very long wait - literally several months-long waiting list and, after seeing her, I understood why. Before I go into the details of the reading, first I have to say that I was impressed by how well organised the appointment was. I think it's Dympna's daughter who manages the appointments. She texted on some very clear, detailed directions to the location and, if I remember rightly, there was another text closer to the appointment time to remind me of it.

I had come across many stories about Dympna's unreliability and last-minute cancellation of appointments, but Dympna was there on time on the day.

She's warm, personable and chatty in a passing-small-talk way, yet she didn't faff around in getting stuck into the reading. A minute into it all, I was assured she was for real - I usually decide whether they're having me on or not within the first minute.

Dympna mentioned some very personal family details that were bothering me at that time and described the situation (which isn't too cut and dry) extremely well. Normally I'm averse to hearing things about family, but that stuff was on my mind then.

Dympna had a lot of info about my dead nan (mother's side) and a close friend of mine who had died only a couple of months before. She was completely on-target and the only questions she asked me were ones to confirm or deny the info she related. But not in that Colin Fry way, where that Paul Whitehouse lookalike eejit doggedly tries hit after hit.

She gave me a few predictions (short-term and long-term) as well, one of which (short-term one) has materialised. It's related to a change of role within the company I work for, and, in hindsight, Dympna described the type of tasks involved in it very well.

I was very impressed by the reading - which was about 35 minutes long - and I was glad that the glowing reviews about her on here didn't lead me down the garden path.

The only bad thing about Dympna is the cost, €80. I was thinking to myself (quite rightly), "You're some eejit to be considering forking out €80 for that," but she does deliver, to be fair. It's still too expensive though, IMO.

Carol Byrne is also too costly - I think she's charging €80 now. Madness really.

Carol Byrne - names came through for me from spirit, but i felt it was a bit brief, also no predictions came through. Peter Matthews - sounds genuine all the greats have attended Arthur Findlay, so i admire the fact he stated hes always learning. The White witch - i went donkeys years ago, i think shes fond of the aul jar now ha alas nothing came through... Dympna - i had an appt last year and got the run around, so i might try again. At least shes the Genuine article, like Bernie Stokes. I refuse to go to any more fakes, i suppose ive learned the hard way and i agree with you in the first 3 mins is when you realise if there genuine or not :cool:

Seriously lads/ladies, did you not read through the thread fully at all? Bunny is only a cold reader. If she was any good at giving readings, I'd say so on here, but she was able to tell me feck all when I saw her. Normally you'd wait to see/not see if predictions come to pass, but she didn't have a clue about me, my past or my present to start with (never a good sign).

You can get a bus from Dublin to the edge of Finglas, but you'd probably have to get a cab from there (which would cost you about €12-15) to Bunny's house. Honestly, if she was worth a visit, I'd tell you to get a bus and a cab out there next week, but she's only a chancer.

I would recommend you go to Dympna Hughes in Walkinstown. There's a long wait to see her - about three-four months - but it's worth it. Or go to Noel O'Shea in the Phoenix Park. He only reads for people once, BTW - once you see him, you can never go back to him in future. He'll spend a good couple of hours with you though.

I visited Bunny today for the first time, I have been involved in psychic and mediumship work for about 15 years. I am very skeptical and I know there are many so called psychics out there who claim to be good and who wouldn't know energy if it hit them in the face. I have sat in circle for 10 years and have attended The Arthur Findlay College in Stansted seventeen times. I have trained in most kinds of mediumship and I have seen the bull****ters and the brilliant.
I know how to conduct myself with a reader and I can assure you that I would give nothing whatsoever away. Not an inch. There are so many charlatans out there. I did not care about the condition of her house which seems to be an issue for some people. I went for a reading. I sat down, said nothing and got smacked right between the eyes with fact number one and then that continued and continued. As I said, I know this game and I was reading the energy as she spoke. The energy was beautiful and so is this 80 year old woman. I was 15 or 20 minutes getting fact after fact thrown at me. In this game 50% accuracy is good 70% is great. I would rate Bunny at 95% accuracy. she got a few things wrong but very little. For €20 it was more than worth the effort and I will certainly go again.
I only ever met one person as good as her and that was Jim Green in Ballincollig in Cork. Jim died a number of years ago but he was a legend. Bunny is gentle and I say fair play to her and I hope she has continued success. I wish her well and I thank her for the experience.
Having experience in this field as a practitioner for many years, I am aware that not everybody will be impressed. As I say, I am very careful and I dont rate many psychics as being even good. In fact they are no more psychic than Aunt Mauds cat but in my estimation Bunny is brilliant. Simply brilliant. I understand that the people whose readings were bad have a legitimate reasons for posting as they did. As for those who were more interested in the condition of her house !! Well, maybe they should go for readings to houses instead of psychics or ask the person if there house is up to the standard they expect. The house has nothing to do with the readings.
Again I wish Bunny well and asa for the €85 gentleman in Ashbourne. Its a disgrace and he knows it to but if eegits are willing to spend that kind of money to listen to crap, I am sure he will take it from them all day long.
