I was ordering a pint last night when this guy (seemingly having dropped down to Earth within the last five seconds) walked up to the girl beside me and uttered a sentence I thought I'd never be so unfortunate to hear..."Have you got a map because I keep getting lost in your eyes". It was so embarrassing, the noise from the bar seemed to pause immediately and look in our direction in genuine despair. Making an effort to inform the others that it wasn't me, I was making faces as in 'God, look at your man...'. The barman didn't know where to look.

The worst part was, she left the bar with him. I used it a few times throughout the rest of the night but no luck....
