This one was way up, and crossed paths with the Buzzard? at the bottom. Not sure if it's the same bird as above, with the white wing tips.

A male, and Sport, your previous one is indeed a Green Carpet.

For ghost Moths keep at eye at dusk over meadows for Ghost Moths Lekking.
A dance in flight at grass head height, showing off to females.

did you see him doing his stretches?

saw him there a few days ago, and didn't have my camera with me. watched him for ages.

Re: the swallows above - I saw one on my roof yesterday doing something similar - appeared to be fanning tail to one side to bathe in sunlight. Think it kills parasites
