Is being called in 'to go through your CV' mean I'm going in for an interview? I'm hopeless with these things :rolleyes:

Humph. I can't get the glasses I want online because my prescription is too strong. I wonder if I could deal with slightly blurrier vision then usual? :P

I actually went to the opticians today for a random check up (I have literally nothing to do with my days right now). She said "Oh we'll you're eyes are pretty good, some slight problems on the left but no need for any prescription." She paused... "FOR NOW" in the most ominous voice I've ever heard.

Online dating's the look of the draw. I remember I was on i for a month and I'd come close to getting a date (the girl randomly stopped messaging me) but that was it. My friend joins the same site and after a week she's dating a guy. It is hard to met people (on and offline) but don't give up. You'll find someone eventually. Also if nothing else you can make some great friends on dating websites, I have.

Thanks mate. I'm only 20 and I find most people on the online dating sites are older than that which is perfectly fine by me but maybe that's why I'm having no luck. It's so frustrating. I wouldn't even mind if I had dates and they didn't work out - it's just getting out there and meeting people I want. I must have messaged all the gay girls in Ireland at this stage! I do get replies and chat away for a while but nothing happens. Oh well

Conversation with two beautiful women who stopped to admire my pooch who was sitting in my lap while having a coffee last week, turned out one of them was dog trainer so she goes in for a kiss and a snuggle. She kept referring to my bitch as an intelligent sensitive breed while swooning over her cuteness. I nods in agreement. Talked about how she gets a bit nervous around men and she responded by saying that she's a woman who just prefers women and giggles at the thought then snuggles some more. I sighs. Then the other woman (her mother) decides to join in on the action by going in for a smooch.. while her daughter makes note of the fact that she doesn't usually let dogs lick her face and reminds us that just because she's small doesn't mean she doesn't lick her ..eh. bits. teehee. The coffee was good that day.

*still googling for dog trainer in locality.

unrelated, was watching a wildlife documentary last night and discovered there is a bird called a booby it's really called a booby we had the volume turned up to max just to be sure we weren't hearing things. We are very immature.

Has anyone seen X-Men: First Class yet? Is it just me or are Charles and Erik incredibly gay together? I said that to my boyfriend as we walked out the cinema and he was like...yeah but you see gay things in everything we watch and I was like WELL DUH.

I just had to smash my kitchen window to get into my house at five in the morning. Or rather my friends did. My parents are in Cork,I told my mum no-one was coming over. This is the first night out since I lost my phone in a nightclub. FML.

Edit: God I came off so bratty teenager; I'm not really, just fairly hopeless. In future, no matter what tabs are left open, if I turn on the computer to use webtexts I'm only using webtexts. I'd just like to say, I didn't lie to my mum, I didn't think I was having people over at the time. She wouldn't have minded it normally anyway except it coinciding with a smashed window probably won't help.

I am so addicted to Community right now. Why have I not watched this show before now?!

I have a date on Friday with someone, first date I'v been on in aaages's. Really fricken nervous about it, but she seems nice enough. Hopefully she won't turn out to be a mad axe murderer:p

Only been on the site for a month, so maybe I'm just lucky, but just keep at it, you will meet someone eventually. Maybe your right about the age thing though, I'm 33 and a lot of girls on the site seem to be my age or older.

I have no idea why straight people swear to being gay all the time (I'm going off men forever!) at least the boundaries are pretty clear. I spent the whole of today with my head on my friends boobs. For all I know we're just way too close friends, this is ****ing silliness, pretty good silliness as it goes but silliness nonetheless :P

Mine is but an ordinary white one from Marks and Spencers tonight.

For a while I was just thinking about how much I like that song and then I got the part thats relevant and nearly died laughing!!!

Me and that girl have a weird relationship though, she knows I'm gay, she's some sort of questioning/bisexual and I'm tempted to just get it over and done with and tell her straight out I like her but I've a feeling I might ruin the thing we have going.

Sounds like a friendship with some great benefits

but, then again if you want more...

Its very complicated...I mean we literally might as well be going out to a large extent, but as you point out, it is a really great friendship with benefits and I'd prefer not to wreck it. :P
