Boards Montage - Let's Do This!

Hey all, Magill posted a thread a while ago about doing a Boards montage but sadly it fell by the wayside a bit. I know people are busy around this time with college exams, work and whatnot but I'm hoping people will be up for this.

I don't have an Xbox unfortunately, so if someone would be so good as to offer to record some videos on that (evil

) side it would be greatly appreciated. I recently got a PVR so I'll record all clips from the ps3. I'll be busy until around the 20th May so will only start editing then, but will record everything as I go along.

- I propose that for people who want to enter to record up to 5 clips and up to 3 of those will be included in the clip. In a post please include the following:
Gamertag :
Save Slot in Fileshare :
Time during the game :

- Submit anything you think will suit the montage. No need for quad sniper feeds like Grizz, but we'll take them if you have them

- It doesn't have to just be Blops, a good few people are going back to Mw2 and CoD4. Obvsiously there's no theatre mode, so if you do record those games feel free to submit them!

I don't think I'm missing anything from the post, but I'll edit it later if I need to.

Edit = For anyone that has Mw2/CoD4 clips could you please upload them to Fileserve where I will download them

I've uploaded my March frag of the month entry in my fileshare, I have the one at 1.8 times normal speed in slot six and the normal speed one in slot 1 and Pm'ed Shammy to see if he can get it uploaded.

Don't know how well it would work for the montage but got a 5v1 and 4v1 SnD clutch last night. In the 5 v1 I got all 6 kills that round to.They're in my theatre mode if you want them anyways?

I have a cross map tomahawk on nuketown :pac:

The only thing is that the clip follows it aswell and it looks like **** when followed.
I'd appreciate it if you used it but maybe leave out the followed part.

TBH, i would say tomahawks don't really fit well into montages that well unless you did some syncing stuff like i did in mine and just bunch a load of them together. I'd say it would be best to have 2 sections in the montage, where the music suits, with one for syncing all the tomahawks and the other for nades. It'll be a bit boring if you try and squeeze 5 or 6 quad nades into it unless its sync'd well or edited with other clips.

Also Lee, you really don't need THAT many clips, i'd say 30-40 is enough for a 7-10min montage. Although i would rather if you only used a few of the ones i've sent you as I don't want too look all big headed with 6 or 7 clips in it

I don't really understand what you're saying in the first section. Have 1 section for synced tomohawks and another for the quad/6 man nades?

In my infite stupidity when I was recording most clips, I just recorded maybe a second before and after the bit I was looking for and didn't really do any dolly cam/3rd person shots etc.

I might have to go back and re-record some stuff.

Shammy was meant to be recording a few clips from the Xbox lads. I do have I think 3/4 clips from them atm.

I mean like cross map tomahawks take up alot of time and they arent really that exciting anymore unless its like a double or something, so the best way to fit them all in is to edit them like i did in montage and squeeze them all into one section. I would say the same with the grenades unless you are going use them in a cinematic sort of intro/outro thingy. And yeah, have one for the tomahawks and one for nades.
