It is the most overhyped, over-sold thing in the world, yes. Overrated? Thats subjective I suppose and depends largely on who you're doing it with. There is no doubt it is a largely enjoyable experience.

Personally, I've experienced more consistently enjoyable pursuits in my life than perpetually chasing tail. Then again, I'm not the kind who ogles the opposite sex to the point of degrading them as a large percentage of the male population tend to do.
