Transit Van to Camper conversion

Hi All

I have a 2005 SWB, low top Ford Transit. As the road tax and insurance are costing my an arm and a leg and I spend most of my weekends camping in the back of it anyway: what do I need to do to get the van taxed and insured as a camper?
