I suppose for the same reason someone buying a 2011 E-class Merc will sell his '08 model. He doesn't need (and can't afford) 2 cars, but gets better economy from a newer one and also the capital to buy from the sale of his older one

There's another one with logo's painted over on the apron between hangars 5 & 6. Didn't get a pic,only copped it on the way out of work.

If I was to take an educated guess, I would say an A380 and directly behind it a 747 and in the extreme background an Airbus A330 just going by the way the tails are.

It is not, it is the angle you are viewing it from, its there, just look closer to the other gear on the right and compare.

EDIT: Guessing maybe hamburg from the photos. Very strange. I have flown to Miami a few times from Heathrow and nearly everytime, over and back, we were hugging the east coast.
