why is it such an offensive word to women?, when i've personally heard girls call each other the C word during bitch fights. But if a man does it....off with his head!

The GF and I call each other the 'c' word all the time (playfully of course). Get some weird looks when in the company of others though which makes it hilarious.

Depends on the person I guess but I'd have no qualms of using it in public or in front of others. If someone did say they were offended I would make it my business to keep saying it.

Anyone's gonna be offended by being called a cunt - or any term of abuse, unless it's in a joking context.

However, I don't understand why so many women are offended by the word on its own - even if it's a term for vagina. Nobody makes that connection when they use it as an insult. "Pussy" sounds nastier imo - even if it's fine in certain, er, contexts.

Cunt is a great word though - best swear-word ever imo, and should be applicable to whomever the cap fits, male or female.

The difference between c**t and twat is they both refer to a part of the female anatomy but you can call a man a twat , ie '' that fcuking ref's a twat ''. Never being able to work that one out
