Its his own fault, he is a burden to the state, why is it so hard to understand STOP EATING. 20000 calorie's a day is ****ing ridiculous, thats enough to feed 8 normal people.

Every time ive turned onn the tv this week all the shows are about morbidly obese people, britains fattest man, xl families, half ton man, half ton teen etc seriously why cant they just cop on and stop eating thosands of calories a day! im sick of these shows clogging up the tv

I'd hazard a guess he was fed a lot of crap at home when he was too young to understand the implications, so I wouldn't deem him entirely at fault for the condition he's in.

"its not my fault i'm this big if they would have given me the operation 20 stone ago i wouldnt be having this problem now"

to me it seems like he has always expected someone else to do something about his weight and is blaming the nhs for him being 56 stone.

When we were still hunter-gatherer types, high-caloric fatty and sugary foods would have been relatively scarce, so being predisposed towards craving and binging on them was actually beneficial to our survival.

Thing, is, major evolutionary changes happen over millions of years whilst human technology moves much more rapidly. With fatty foods being in plentiful supply, it's no longer an advantage to desire them over healthier fare. But our bodies don't know this.

While still consuming in excess of 20,000 calories per day (up to 30,000 some days!) Though he obviously has psychological problems so it's not as simple as just saying he's a fat glutton.

But you have to wonder how people like him can afford to eat so much? I was watching a similiar show about a hugely obese guy in the US and his monthly food costs were insane, I can't remember the figure but it was multiples of what the average person would spend on food, and included gigantic quantities of takeaways on top of his supermarket shopping. Needless to say he didn't have a job.
