I think its fairly safe to say that FF will take a drop in the next election so I wanted to test the water here and see what way people are leaning. For the sake of clarity, I've only included parties with sitting TD's/MEP's.

Well would vote F.G, no way in the world would i vote labour, full of waffle from the likes of Eamon Gilmore and Joan Burton, lets not forget the labour party are in the pockets of the unions and who was it that gave a civic reception at taxpayers cost to pamela izevbekhai but the mayor of Sligo a labour woman, they dont fool me (maybe they fool jackeens) nor a lot of other people in the country, i would prefer F.F than that shower.

It doesn't matter who gains, loses, gets voted in or out. It wont make a blind bit of difference.

The country is f*cked and unfixable.

There is no solution - one may as well perform CPR on a week old decapitated corpse as try to balance the books.

Also OP never underestimate the sheer stupidity/tribalism of voters, especially FF ones.

Will probably vote independent, I have always voted and I will always vote, but the standard here is appalling imo, really is very very bad. I have listened to the opposition quite a bit during our crisis and I really do despair.

Had there been an Independent option, I would have went for that.

FF/FG are two sides of the same coin and frankly, one is as bad as the other.
Both up to their necks in the expenses issues and both in bed with the banks and developers.

i'll vote independent if there are any useful candidates.

i'm afraid (literally!) to say that other than that i'll vote FF. i'm of the belief they've got the best handles on the big bucket of s'hite they contributed to creating so they might as well keep cleaning it up.

there shoud be major reforms of the political system though, expenses are a joke, salaries too high and not enough accountability on a rolling level with the public.

In fairness, with so much of Irelands 'wealth' in bed with Fianna Fail, I think they've a very good chance at winning the next election.

In the unlikelihood they do get back, on their own or by co-sharing, I will be looking to move my family lock, stock and barrel out.

Completely understand where you are coming from here, but this is, in a roundabout way, a contributing factor to FF support.
How many people have left the country this year? And how many of them were unsatisfied with FF?
Whereas, the FF supporters, from the farmers right up to the bankers, stay and continue to support them.

If FF get back in, I will be urging non-ff supporters to evacuate the country and leave the FF muppets to their own mess thereafter.
In the meanwhile there is only so much beating one can take in the name of loyalty to one country, before the body collapses or you get away from those doing the beating completely in order to live.

They wont be getting my vote but i do expect them to get back in TBH and knowning that, it doesnt really bother me.

The main reason im not to bothered is, I dont think anyone party can fix the country the way it is at the moment, yes i understand it was mainly down to FF why this country is in the hole it is in, but can one party or one coaliation fix it? I'd like to see major political reform and a change in our priorities as a country. I think it's hard to get the full picture if you're not an 'insider' though. Sometimes I watch Vincent Browne and I'm reminded of what that fella Terry Bellefleur in True Blood said when asked about what some politician was saying on TV , "I can't listen to politicians anymore - I get seizures...".

I'm not loyal to any party , though I'd prob be classified as a social democrat politically. I certainly don't agree with the actions that Fianna Fail and their shills the Greens have taken. The state of the health service just represents everything about Fianna Fail's priorities to me. I'd be on the same page as Brian Lucey when it comes to NAMA.

I don't agree with our overreliance on multinationals and lack of self sufficiency as a country. I chose Labour because I think that if and when they get into government there will be such a focus on them that it will put a fire in under their ass. If Fine Gael are in coalition with them hopefully they will balance each other out. Maybe I'm being naive in thinking this. At this stage the best we can hope for is damage limitation and job creation as soon as possible.
