The problem with Halloween costumes is that if they aren't done well they look so bad that you probably would have been better off not dressing up, but on the other hand, in order for them to look good you need to put in an inordinante amount of effort, which is a lot of bother for one night, and it also looks a bit odd too.

Also, I hate girls who dress up in ridiculously revealling costumes, it isn't slutoween or ego-aween. I'll pay for your flights to Amsterdam just leave me alone.

I went as Indiana Jones last year, people assume its an easy costume to make, bloody well isnt it took a lot of effort and expense to get it right, I wont 2 competitions that night too
