Since Stan does not seem to be around anymore I figured we needed a new thread for photos of Limerick. I know there are lots of photographers on here so the idea is anyone who has a nice pic of anything Limerick related or just a nice pic can stick it up What do you think ? I liked the stuff Stan was doing and it put a bit of a positive vibe out about Limerick.

Many thanks for all the snaps thus far folks. None bad but some absolutely super ones in there. Managed to brighten up my evening somewhat with the dull and overcast weather outside. Especially nice for people abroad who might be feeling a wee bit homesick I reckon.

Think this thread is crying out for some snaps of Newcastle West our county town. Will try my best to oblige if im in town in the next few days and this murky weather just goes away!

If we get snow again this year I am going to try and head back and take the same shot (god bless 4x4's)

that is a stunning picture, i didnt think the galtees would look that good from that distance , also see slievenamuck ridge ( bansha woods ) there.. i presume the hills nearer / behind limerick are around the loch gur area..

You need to upload your photos on a photo sharing website like Pix.ie or flickr, then copy and paste the url in your thread.

Didn't have time to take snaps today but weather and colours out around Broadford, Co. Clare were beautiful. Next few days, especially early morning, should be very good for you nature photographers.
