In fact there are a few understandings of what karma actually is depending on whether you are an Indian Buddhist or Chinese Buddhist. Either way it doesn't equate to an eye for an eye What do i believe though is that what you put out, you get back in return. E.G. If you are a negative person, then you aol attract negative people people into your life. Which makes sense as people of a positive nature will not share your beliefs or views. Granted thus is a simplistic example but correlates to many aspects of life.
