Ok last question, how fit are ye lads, Im not very, jus tryan to loose a bit of weight. and the only skills (I use the term loosely) come from when I played in the schoolboys league many moons ago.

I think it is fair to say we vary quite a bit in fitness.
We will be playing on the full-pitch tomorrow I believe but everyone seems to be coping with it well.

I would be inclined to suggest that we put our strongest backline together to give them as much experience as they can but having said that I don't want to be stepping on Gerrys toes either.

Ye I'm just curious about whether or not that would make the game really uncompetitive.

What about if something like this tonight? Our best defense on one team, and the best forward line on the other. Split the midfields half and half?

Ya have a good point,

Séa who is coming down plays for prob one of the better reams that will be in our league so I'd suggest him on the other team to give the lads an idea what we'll be up against. So as a suggestion:

Team 1:
Alan
Adam
Johnny
Niall

Team 2:
Séa
Fergal
Daave
Tomas & Ken (if he can come) then CM

that way we have our current starting backline up against our quickest attack and CM.

Niall's working though so he isn't able to play, but I believe that Alan pointed out earlier that one of the two lads he's bringing who he described as "handy" plays fullback so he could go on that team maybe?
