okay so i havent played cod in around 2 weeks, however last night and the night before i was playing and in almost every game i played someone was using a silenced ump

when did everyone start using these???

Probably the best gun in the game really. In terms of versatility that is.

It's excellent up close and at medium range, while it's capable of doing surprisingly effective work at longer ranges.

Best gun in the game is the m16!!! Only used this gun for the first time yesterday..... its absolutely beastly. Gotta use the iron sight too ofc !

its easily the strongest sub machine gun, it excels with the silencer and doesn't need stopping power. whenever i use it i use cold blooded pro. that is my try hard class!:D

I normally use a sniper or a riot shield when im messing about but then sometimes i switch to the ump with a silencer, marathon, cold blooded, ninka and a striker with FMJ

Been using that for quite some time now, around 3 months or so. All but one class has it but yeah I noticed last night it seems like everyone is now using it? Was weird, I thought it was the same guy killing me in the killcam (few deaths in a row

) and noticed the names were diff but same loadout on each.

Great set up though but feels a bit detracted from now everyone is using it. For a change try using the very very very overpowered rafica. Has the same stopping power and range as the UMP. I use it as a primary its so over powred and stil manage to be in the mid twenties for kills on MTDM.

I've tried so many times to like the UMP but whenever I equip it I can never play well with it. Might give it one more shot though

Its hard to trust it when I can do so well with a silenced Scar, Tar or M16

I find the UMP recoils like a bastard though, although I havent used it in a while so maybe its the mp5k I'm thinking of, always found in had to burst fire with it unless I was charging towards someone hipfiring with steady aim on.

Theres no such thing as a "nooby" gun, I hate that line of thinking that because you got killed that the other person didnt deserve it as they werent using a handgun or some other "elite" way of playing. you can pick holes in every single persons playstyle, someone will always find something to whinge about. I get called a noob for using the SPAS, usually by some guy with an Intervention whos nowhere near the fighting.

except tubers, they suck :P

Just burst fire it, then it becomes a beast of a gun, just like any gun when burst-fired over a distance. I think this is the best for burst firing, and I rarely use it.

Wha? I wouldnt call a spas nooby? Sure its a one shot kill but the reload is a death trap if you come accross more than one enemy making it balanced.

The aa12 is fairly well balanced also, full auto but you have to be sitting on their shoulder shooting them to be in range.

Not really, with SoH the spas is beast, and the AA12 has mad range copared to some of the other shotguns

Using the SPAS you have to quickly learn the distance between a kill and a hitmarker, otherwise you'll get hammered when trying to run up to someone. I still get it wrong sometimes but I'm pretty good at judging it these days, and yeah the reload action means instant death if you miss, as far as I'm aware SOH doesnt affect the pump action reload does it? just the actual putting more ammo in action.
If I had extended mags equipped on it I could have gotten an 8 kill streak on Domination on Sub Base yesterday, would up behind the spawn point at C as thats the only flag they had, got 5 kills and had to reload then died, there were 3 guys left standing firing at the harrier overhead, I really wish I was recodring that, made me look like I was beasting about the place :pac:

If i can see somebody in a high window or hiding behind a wall etc, I have no prob blowing them to bits with my noobtube. MP5 has worse recoil I think. Stick a silencer on the UMP and it improves the recoil a lot.

that I have no problem with, grenade launchers have a practical purpose, I used to use the thumper a lot, but its when this happens:

"Team deathmatch!, take them down!"
thunk, thunk, thunk <- thats as a close as I can write the tube sound :pac:
boom! first blood! multikill!

that pisses me off, random grenade spamming, grrr :mad:

I have a great laugh with the noobtuber, I aim directly below them so it just bounces off the ground and hits them. I normally dont use the noobtube tho, but if theirs other people using it and killing me, I change my class to it and show them how fun it is.

Ironically they always give me abuse when they use it themselves. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I've no problem with that. It's when people spam the tube that it annoys me. You see a guy running around in your killcam with the noob tube in use. He's not able to kill you by shooting, so keeps the tube open for shooting permanently.

I find floop floop is a more accurate sound.

The MP40 was a beast of gun though..

Only realy use it on my stabby stabby class and like Krudler said the recoil is a b1tch.Never remember to burst fire it:o
