after you download the new 1.11 patch for ps3. if you go into private match and go on select map the new maps will be there. but obviously, u cant play them

i wonder can you buy them tonight at 12 or 1 or later. was lvl 63 this morning, now lvl 68! but not gonna prestige as i love the 7th emblem

There's 5 maps, 2 old maps from COD 4 I think and 3 new ones. You can check google for images of the maps and the many youtube videos reviewing them and gameplay. Have to say I'm looking forward to them more than the stimulus ones.

Its July 7th and still no sign of MW2 Resurgence Pack on PS3 store...FFS I was waiting at 12 midnight hoping for it to hit the ps3 store and nothing....then just checked again this morning still no sign of it....

PSN updates have occured at around 16:30 since the service began. So I suspect it will be available then.

It'll be on before 5pm, same as the last ones, dont expect to be able to get them though, last time I just waited until midnight and get them, everyone will be trying to get them as soon as they're released so the store will have a meltdown like when the Stimulus ones came out.

Gonna try get the tonight when the demand dies down a bit. As you said, like the Stimilus pack the PSN Store will be mad busy and there could be a few D/L problems, best to wait a few hours.

Does anyone know if I download the maps onto the PS3 I'm currently using(which is a mate's PS3) will I be able to use them on another PS3(one that I'll eventually buy)... or do I have to buy them again?

Ah the day when the COD4 map pack came out. Got it for free of my mate(in the online sense), willingly just gave me all his account details and I just downloaded it for nothing :pac:

Same as Cod4 mate, just log in with the same account on the new playstation and download away. Iirc, the limit on the downloads per pack per account is 4, so I wouldn't go giving them away or anything :pac:

I'm having no problems, took 20 mins to download the 346mb pack, (which is average speed for me), installing them now

That would be my understanding alright, but the maps wouldn't work for your mate on his account. It's linked to your account. But I'm not 100% on that...

I dunno. My understanding is it can be downloaded (and work) up to 4 times per purchase per account.

I'm guessing it would work on his mates as well as his own ps, as I've gotten a pm from a boardsie asking for my acc details so he can download for free :mad:

I think you can download it as often as you want to the same PSN account - and the limitation is that you can download it to 4 or 5 different machines. However, all local accounts on any of those machines have access to the maps on the hard disk - and if the other users are also PSN accounts they can use the maps online, even if their account didn't buy them.

Yeah that's grand, he doesn't play COD so it's no loss for him.
