Fathers Day.

Considering the day it is upon ringing my dad this morning to wish him a happy fathers day we both started talking about boards.

God forbid we ask each other how we are, no i just went on to talk about someone who's post i really didn't like in the Soccer forum, he then went to tell me about some stuck up posters in the Coffee forum.

Are we the only father son group on boards ? Any out there make yourself known and please tell me you didn't send a happy fathers day pm. That was my orginal thought as the house phone was so far away, until my mother agreed for both of us that the phone would be a better option.

I think I posted this story before, but I left boards logged in on the home PC when I was back from college once. The father got on the computer, registered an account and got banned for 'unhelpful responses' in PI after 12 posts. One particularly memorable post of his was expressing his desire to be a love-slave to Lucy Kennedy.

LOL...ye parents used to be awful at phones and texts...jsut random words bundled together and sent

Oh dad doesn't use boards, just computers for serious things. He got his phone call and it was a happy chat, although very sad when i found out where he was, and why he is there. Fathers day is hard for some people.

Still nice to call and have a chat and a laugh
