Some people don't like the way Nintendo became so successful in recent years - by expanding the range of their games and making things like Wii Sports Resort and Wii Music they appeal to and draw in families, but long-term fans can feel like they're left in the cold!

Then they release absolutely awesome games like this, games that everyone can enjoy but are still fundamentally gamers' games! Suddenly everything's okay again. :P

Anyway, I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 right now (took a short break to charge the remote's batteries!) and it's incredibly good fun.

For those of you who think your hobbies are expensive, try this for size:

3P Rifle Setup

I'd change a few things, and it'd cost a bit more in a left-handed format, so let's call the whole lot about £7,500. Now add another £3,000 or so for a setup for 300m shooting, and about £3,500 for a standard rifle (another discipline) and we're into fairly hefty money. Now think that for the first rifle, which is for 50m only, I'd be shooting maybe 15,000 round a year at about 25c a pop, and maybe 2,000 rounds in the 300m guns, at about €2 a pop, and it's time to reevaluate the costs of various hobbies!

My Dad and myself have been working on it for a little while now; You've probably tried it and it's far from complete but amazon have a good Dr Who store; link here

Ebay are also good for the odd one but it's likely to be fake. Often a good quality fake though.
