It's the sister festival of rock im park, the ring started up first, this year was the 25 year anniversary for the ring and the 15 year anniversary for the park. If you look here you will see their relative locations, Frankfurt is in the middle so people fly there for both. They are on the same weekend, exact same line-up, bands play alternate days, the ring has a slight bigger crowd, this year there were about 60,000 in the park, about 80,000 in the ring, the ring is set on the F1 race track, less green, less shops etc, the park is supposed to be more laid-back, dunno, never been to the ring but would be hard for me to pick the ring over the park now. People generally have heard of rock am ring but not the park since the ring is that bit bigger, always recorded etc and older, tickets sell out a lot quicker for the ring. I think where the park is on is probably more scenic though and then you have the whole history of the place. /history lesson
--LOS-- wrote: » It's better if you sing the song :pac: Ye that was professionally edited in gimp >_> Look at the skillz on me Ye it's always mad looking back on those vids to see the scale of the thing. Tickets were 150e, that's what I paid, think they had them for 140e at first and then you get a fiver back for bringing back 2 bags of rubbish. Tickets for RAR started off at the same price but then they got dearer and dearer near the time. They're usually the price of the year before when they first go on sale and then they go up a little. But I was just looking at my rage ticket, 70.70e, I don't remember paying that much  so basically 2 gig tickets here and you have your RIP ticket. Travel cost me about 100, actually probably more, can't remember, I didn't book it early enough either.

And of course a girl should listen to her mum... I'm in this Disney mood ever since we watched The Princess and the Frog in our Irish/Extra English class ^^ (I don't do Irish muahaha) The other day I watched Pocahontas (my favourite Disney princess awh). Now I just need something to do. Any suggestions?
Tar.Aldarion wrote: » Time for my stirfry I think...my daily stirfry Yeah you should, this being the mummy that called me hawt, knows her stuff obv :pac: I reallllllllly wish I didn't have to do Irish, spoiled school a lot watch supernatural
--LOS-- wrote: » There is that Ethan Hawke version of Hamlet. What play are you doing?
anothernight wrote: » King Lear. =/ Shakespeare was great for poetry, but crap at plays. I don't care what critics say.
--LOS-- wrote: » There is that Ethan Hawke version of Hamlet. What play are you doing? Just my ears then :pac: hmm Nuremberg seems to be in a different sentence, where are those arrows going >_> Well couple of hundred, sure it's a holiday, you need to do a phd seeeee and then you can go :pac: Ye iron maiden was expensive too and now Heaven and Hell aren't even playing I flew with aer lingus and it was about the same price as ryanair and way handier.
anothernight wrote: » You mean the woman with the dodgy taste in men? Can't (shouldn't?) watch series sorry. I either don't have the patience for them (very likely) and get bored or I actually like them and then I waste too much of my time watching them.
Tar.Aldarion wrote: » What are you implying about your dad :pac: I'm sure her taste is just super -_- Anim series might be better then for you, you might get scared in supernatural hehe, short and generally not many episodes...maybe a film? hmm I must see clash of the titans I think ..
anothernight wrote: » I'm implying what you think I'm implying, yes. You're only saying that because she said you're hot =P I used to watch anime many years ago. I'm not scared of everything you know! I love horror films but most of them aren't scary. The problem is that I grew up watching them so I'm pretty sure that messed up my mind a bit. Watching Freddy Krueger when I was 3 made me so scared of sleeping =(
--LOS-- wrote: » radio noises lol! ah ye gwan do it, if you can get funded sure what's not to like. They're basically just the reformed Black Sabbath, ah would have been good to see Dio before he kicked it, just now the ticket seems very pricey for just Maiden and probably some ****t fill-in. I've mainly flown ryanair as well, always feel dodgy, all the safety instructions are done in the air on ryanair but on the ground with aer lingus, everthing is so rushed with ryanair, I've had quite a bad landing with them before where it just came down way too hard and fast. I want to see this; http://www.thebigfourlive.com/

Hullo, it was looking like rain all day, then it didn't.........and here we are back in Ireland talking about the weather :pac: Ya there is interest, I've been watching the Metallica mailing list, I love that big screen in the savoy too with the curtains and such.
