There were plenty of war museums, very harrowing. There is a really good Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi, and Halong Bay is beautiful. I recommend trying the North, preferably travel the whole country if you can. Both sides suffered during the war, you'd really have to wonder at the point of it all.So until the OP becomes better informed, I would recommend that this thread be closed.

We could have had WW3 but for Vietnam.
