When you're queueing up to enter a pub or club on a night out, and have quite visibly imbibed an alcoholic drink or two, you're likely to be asked by the bouncer this question.

What do you/should you answer with?

Your response obviously cannot be entirely truthful (You're not getting in if you tell him you've just finished your 12th can)

Nor can it be too obviously made up (When you're quite clearly struggling to stand still and upright in a non-moving queue, and you claim not to have touched the stuff all night, your bluff will be called fairly easily and lo, you're still not getting in)

I usually say 4, fyi. I'm of small build, so this is usually believed by the bouncers
