Are HeadShops back in business?

just got a call from a mate, saying the athlone headshops, have new shít in that bypasses the newly enforced laws, at work atm so no way to check till later? whats the story with your local headshops? is there new smoke in??

this was told to me by the owner a few weeks ago, so he seems to have been telling the truth.

If I'm not mistaken the new ban is essentially a blanket ban in that Gardai can shut down a shop if they believe it's selling mind altering substances? So it's either selling **** useless products or it's going to be shutdown.

They might go back to the way headshops were before it was all about legal highs. Selling bongs, grow lights, rolling papers etc.

Most headshops will reopen with new stock soon enough id imagine,

Its only a matter of another few weeks and theyll be gone completly again anyways

We're Irish, obviously it wont be shut down. Probably some clause such that not approved by a certain board or something like that. I don't know what the exact wording is, but there is some way whereby the Gardai can close down headshops once new stuff appears AFAIK.

Nanny state FTW eh, why collect tax when instead you can spend it on the alternatives. Drug dealers!!
