Lidl telescopes again!
From Thursday 10.12:

Meade LXD75 6" f/5 newtonian with Autostar 497, and 1 26mm Super Plossl eyepiece: €600
Bresser 102mm F/10 achromat on a Mon2 german equatorial with slo-mo controls, 3 plossls and a 2x barlow: €300
Meade ETX 70 AT with 3 eyepieces: €150
Bresser 90mm spotting scope on alt-az tripod with zoom eyepiece €140
Skylux 70mm f/10 alt-az refractor

Suprised to see the ETX 70 again considering it's been discontinued. Fantastic scope for the price - I got one the last time they were around.

The LXD75 is a good price too, but I don't think that this is the schmidt-newtonian version, just the again-discontinued f/5 normal newtonian.

Hi i live in kildare and i recently came into ownership of the meade ext-70. Unfortunately its missing everything execpt the tripod and main body. My main aim is to get the three lenses for it asap. So if anyone can give any info on how to get replacement parts that be awesome.

Cheers for the links lad! Ordered a set of eyepieces from them last night. Postage was £10 which isn't too bad.

Received the barlow lenses today only to find that I can't use the eyepiece that came with the scope with the lenses :mad: The Series 4000 eyepiece screws into an adaptor which connects to the focuser on the scope so the barlows are useless unless I get new eyepieces. Rookie mistake I'm afraid.

Suppose there's no harm in having a range of eyepieces anyway.
