I was in a band for the last 4 years and had constant hoarsness for all the gigs so lived on them for awhile. They warm you up instantly, possibly something to do with all the whiskey! :P Brilliant for a sore throat tho, and after 3 or 4 you'd be quite merry!

I was in Dublin yesterday ... Got to town just as it started snowing! I got soaked, but I missed the hassle of buses being cancelled etc ... Thank God!

Same age myself. This getting old business isn't fun at all.
