Nah Podge's here but he's sying with viral arthritis so been housebound for like three weeks now! Gotta be here to make tea and food n stuff n make sure he doesn't fall down the stairs (his muscles are so fecked he keeps tripping and twisting his ankles n stuff)
Just got the nut roast on now, ya my mum made the quorn roast for the family and they were all ranting down the phone to me about it bein savage alright!

Yup just finished dinner there, very unvegan desert (baked custard pudding - very oldschool) in the oven but sure it's christmas so I can bend the rules a bit!
I think it's gonna take me about a week to digest that nut roast!

I did the whole no present thing one year. I was broke, and there had been a death. So people weren't in the mood for making a big fuss.
We were pleasantly surprised to realise that nobody missed the under the tree booty one bit.

Those cheesy ball movies are right after all....It is about the people you love and the ridiculiously rich food

I'm a bit sad today. Our local Cathedral, which was just about the only thing to be proud of in Longford burnt down.
The townspeople saved for a lifetime, in desperatley hard times. To pass it on to it to us.
It was a truly beauiful building, I have so many memories of being desperately bold there growing up.

On the other hand I had a savage dinner.

I read about that in AH a while ago...that sucks! and it being one of the focal attractions of Longford too...:(
