How many numbers do you have on yer phone?

So i'm sending a text and i scroll down through the various names on my phone when i realise i have hundreds (203 to be precise).
I tend not to delete old numbers for various reasons..i have maybe ten or so numbers i use all the time and a handfull i'd use occasionaly but the vast majority i've either nver spoken to or i did years ago and kept the numbers for whatever reason.
So..how many numbers do you have,how many do you use and how do you accrue new " contacts"?

okay i have exactly 620 contacts on my phone at the moment added, 28 last week

i combine all the names and all numbers and directions to the house in each contact

so i have 620 of thinks like

easily have well over a thousand phone numbers, backed up on my pc and zipped and emailed to myself, so can't be lost

when someone rings me, i ignore the call, check the contact to remind me who they are, then ring back asap

Five. I don't keep numbers of anyone I don't know well or haven't spoken to in over six months. It consists of:

My girlfriend
My best friend
My brother
Both parents

This "Oh, I have 300 contacts in my phone, 98% of whom I haven't spoken to in two years" stuff is ridiculous. It's the equivalent of having 300 friends on FaceButt.

On a regular basis....only text about 5 people.

I've tried deleting ones in the past but they always find their way back into your phone. Same with the Bebo. Deleted 200 "friends" and sure they are all nearly back again. I'm gonna delete my whole account now and gonna clean out my phone numbers too

they take your phone at the airport in pyongyang, so don't worry about the north korean contacts!!
the day i got my final results in college, i scrolled through my phone and deleted about half of my class. it's a habit i've never lost. lost my phone a few weeks ago and found out since that i still have too many numbers. i'll survive on 50.
but then there's the phone number i use when i'm out....
