Regarding the balloon/space-hopper, why do keepers not clear thier area of crap? You see streamers etc in the area at times and yet it gets left.

there was a couple of times in that half where we had the ball on the halfway line, and we had 5 midfielders all in a line not making any sort of run at all.

it was a f***ing joke.

i'm really really annoyed by that half of football from a Liverpool point of view.

babel looks willing, and benny looks like he could do damage if we could manoevre the ball properly. spearing hasn't looked out of place either. they're the positives.

it is the tactics that seem to be screwing this up so far. sunderland haven't even played that well really.

Extra balls on the field of play:

"If an extra ball enters the field of play, the referee must stop the match, only if it interferes with play..."

The lack of support for Kuyt is astonishing tbh.

He needs to change it at halftime but he won't until 60mins I'd imagine.

That first half reminds me of the Boro game last season.

Spearing is crap imo, but Pacheco is a forward, not a midfielder. It's not one or the other

According to FIVE live it has now been confirmed as a red beachball with liverpool printed on it. Also the rules of the game state that the ref should have stopped play and ordered the removal of the balloon and the game restarted with a hop ball.
