The plastic bag levy is set to be doubled to 44 cent.

Now on the otherhand if the govt donated every penny that it made from this tax and did not receive any of it, that would be something! But all that is happening is the govt have discovered another way to tax you and for those of us who cannot put the bags in our boot because we cannot afford a car well I see we are getting a lot of support on the issue.
