I'm in a similar situation to yourself, thinking of replacing my old T90i with a T90XR, and am wondering what's the best price you've found up north? I've checked a few UK websites, but haven't been able to beat Woodies here in Dublin, who've quoted me €256 after my OAP's Thursday discount. That's for the 9.5kW model; I think the 8.5kW is under-powered.

I live in a flat and when i moved in they had a 13AMP fuse in but every time i turn the temperature knob to high the fuse will blow I’ve changed 3 fuse already and i was wondering if i were to put in a higher AMP if that will help. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated RegardsMarsha

Then sometimes it goes from boiling hot to cold. It is out of warranty now. Can anyone tell what the problem is and how much it would cost to fix it? Thanks

christo82 wrote: » Are you saying replace the shower head that comes with the unit? This seems a bit of a strange thing to have to do. I would have thought the shower head on it would be pretty good quality. I have soaked it in limescale remover several times, but that hasn't helped. I'll go and buy a new head for it then. Cheers.
Joey the lips wrote: » No I am wondering if the head on it is not the orig head. This can sometimes give trouble if you change the head but dont use the same one.

A plumber told my OH that you should only use them for 10 mins at a time, but i have long thick hair, so there is not a hope of showering in 10 mins, and surely, they should be a little bit stronger, after paying over €200??

I have a triton t90xr shower about two years now but recently i have noticed that when the unit is turned off, water has started to pass through the hose/head. Cleaned the filter but when i put the filter back in the same problem persists, hoping this is fixable and i dont have to buy new unit
wayne g wrote: » Thanks for the replies, checked manufacture date but its 12/07 unfortunately. Also tried resetting the dial, there were two dials under the cover. the first one clicked into 3 positions so left that alone, second one was the one under the 1-10 dial on the cover so turned that one anti clockwise til it stopped and put cover back on. Unfortunately this didnt stop the water from passing through. If you can think of anything else or if i didnt follow your instructions correctly let me know, thanks again

Recently the pressure had been decreasing and on monday it gave out altogether, im no expert but i do work in the DIY business and know my way around most things... long story short i though at first it was an airlock, but i have bled the thing dry and the cowboys who installed the shower had used qualpax to run the water from the tank so icant bleed it from there without replaceing the whole pipe. I am more than happy to do this but before I do want to make sure im not barking up the wrong tree and making needless plumbing work for myself. help much appreciated.
