I read a book Outliers, the story of success by Malcolm Gladwell recently. He said experts need to put in about 10,000 hours before they become expert. Have you put in 10,000 hours?
Do you play any cash games? What's your living situation? Any desire to leave Ireland?

How did you develop you're style of play? What type of style of play do you find hardest to play back at or against? When you came back for the final day in the SCOOP, did you have a strategy plan out? You seem to have played very aggressive in the SCOOP, was this a major rush for you when you kept 3/4 betting Pearljammer etc? What rules did you use for bankroll management before you're big cash? WP on a great 2 years of results.
Thanks for taking the time to do this Jude. In the first three levels of a multi day live tournament will you take a known race for all your chips? Do you multitable MTT's ? Do you keep notes, if so can you tell us a bit about how you use them Do you use any software tools like HEM PT? Do you play many other sites besides stars? Have you done any training replay videos with commentary of your big games? What kind of hours do you keep?` You finish fifth on a significant final table, how do you feel ?
best/worst things you can do at the table?eg ipod, sunglasses, focus best image to have at the table in a standard tourney live/online midway/late on? do you think players have different tendencies between online and live?are they expoitable? fondest memory from the game over the years? thought i'd throw a few in,thanks for doing this!!
During one of the first hands at the wcoop final table Pearljammer 4 bet, you 5 bet and he folded (maybe 3 and 4 bet), both of ye had air. Had you some sort of timing/sizing tell? Or can you tell us your thought process?
How many ships make a sheep? - If you could only play 5 tournies a week which ones would they be? - your biggest weakness is? - what is the sound of one hand clapping? - top regular players in your games are? - what makes you uncomfortable at the table? i.e. another player having position? stack sizes etc. - what/who has been the biggest influence on your career? - how long does it take to walk backwards into eternity? - did you have a poker epiphany - did you just one day realise 'ah, so thats how i should be doing it'? - Having invested so much time into academia do you ever feel sorry that you have left it behind? - Do you tilt? how do you cure it?
1 without a big score do you think playing tourneys is profitable long term? 2 have yourself and derek any profit sharing deal? 3 What is your gameplan in the various stages of a tournament early/mid/late 4 whats the bmw like on petrol 5 why did rooneydives stop playing (any1)
How big an influence has Fintan " the godfather of soul " Gavin had on your poker career. Putt these Galway players in order of how you rate them as players; Pat Callahan, Dave Curtis, Silky, Keith McFadden, Derek Murry, Fintan. When I hear the terms " getting it quietly ", " most underrated player " one player always springs to mind for me; would you agree ( hint, he can fling a seven iron 100 yards ) You have a PHD ( in bio-chemistry ? ), reckon you'll ever use it. Isn't it about time mr Rizla hit that six figure score; he gets there so often, is he doing something wrong deep or just running bad late. Whats the most someone tried to nip you for after your scoop touch. the hand i remember from your scoop win was when you double floated a guy and then took the pot on the river, can you go through your thought process for that hand. Good Luck in the well and thanks for taking the time.
