Pass in da house for MGH as well.

I only got my letter today yet I was at the same AC as MBC who got hers yesterday. Bizarre. Maybe my envelope stuffer was slower than hers :rolleyes: lol

I dont write much on here I'm more a background reader ! My letter arrived today and it was good news !! I passed yeeee haaaa. My wife is expecting our second baby in 3 - 4 weeks time and she said that I'm more excited about the police than the arrival of the baby ......hmmmmmm dont really know how to answer that one ! Anyway well done to all now just got to pray that my scores are good, I've got no nutters in my family that I didn't know about and my knees hold out !!!

So what way does it work with those of you who are in from C14 but still 'in' C15? Are you not gonna withdraw officially before merit stage?

Not that I'm clutching at straws to be knocked up an extra few spots in the merit nos or owt [/innocent]

Just curious going by last year what happens next after you receive pass letter?
I think I recall someone saying on here they got a dear john a few days after receiving a pass letter.
I guess there is a pass mark and then the police cut the bottom scoring ones off to save money at vetting and medical is that sort of correct?
Also when and how do you get your merit number all my letter said was I will get detailed scores no earlier than November and PSNI will contact me no earlier than September.
I know its a guessing game but going from previous years what happens next?

For me last year, I got the pass letter from the AC, then about a week later I got a dear john from PSNI, I was about 700+ on the merit list which I found out by ringing the recruitment branch I think.

Still haven't got mine mate!!! I hope your right and it comes soon. Congratulations hope you go all the way. will let you know when I get the letter.
