Surely a that price you would be better off buying a house in its country of origin (or other non VRT charging country) & running it from there? €648k would buy a handy 2nd home surely?

EDIT: I see it is in US, still though you could drive it on your Californian holidays! I see they are also selling a Pagani Zonda Roadster, a snip at €920,000...

The interior is bah... Not a fan of the color but still it seems very basic. I wish there was a big 7" screen with all the features (GPS, Bluetooth, DVD, ...) on that bloody thing for 1.8 Mil.

If you were stupidly rich I actually think this would be a decent investment. They cost something like £6m to build, so each one is a huge loss-maker for the maker (is it VW?), and they will be very, very desirable for many years among the super wealthy.

I'd have thought that thing would rev much higher than 8000. I mean, its capable of 254mph!! And has 7 gears. Must be a huge range for each.

You can get them in the UK for a lot cheaper than that (less VRT). That price is outrageous.

It's a 2009 car so VAT applies also. That's the killer for me.

IIRC it didn't stay on Irish soil long. There pics of it in the Here's What I saw today thread, only a few pages back.

disagree completely.. veyron is a work of art.

it doesn't rely on mad looks like the other two..

even leaving performance aside, i rather the looks of the veyron by a mile..
