How many countries have you visited?

I was wondering how well travelled people generally are. Here's my list. Will go up by one next month as I'm going to be on the beach in Greece! Feel free to argue about which ones are and aren't countries too btw.

good point but many here haven't visited parts of their own country, guy from dublin on here about 6 months back "didn't know what an inishowen or Ben Bulben was" his words :eek:

Yep I am 52 and I got 3 X 10 year expired Passports with all the stamps to show as well

England, Scotland and Wales are not countries! They are regions in the United Kingdom which is a country.

Also, Ireland is a country, Northern Ireland is not! If you have been to the North of Ireland then the country you have been to is Ireland.

They are countries I think you'll find. The United Kingdom is a sovreign state and not a country. Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connacht are provinces....in Ireland.

Each country making up the UK has it's own devolved government, including first minister (apart from England who is governed by the UK government).

If each was a region, what the hell is the point of the Scottish, Welsh & Northern Irish parliaments? Ha?
