I think you might have a bit of a wait. I am 120's n/rc and I am starting in March. I have not heard of anyone over 200 getting the call as yet.

hey id say it would be a while too. im 150-170 Non RC and i only got the call yesterday for April intake!

Im RC ~150, and my vettings cleared. Still waiting on call...

im rc~750 & ive had a medical & passed vetting. dont know if that means i will be getting a call at some point. i spose it depends on whether or not they actually are calling people by merit number. it has seemed quite random so far

Bit disappointed now no call for April, must be vetting ongoing!!! Ah well...have to keep the chin up!

Quite a few of us waiting on this vetting it seems! can't think what the hold up is now! mines away since September! Horrific!

how do you know the calls are all over? it may be that there just no boardies have heard today.. keep the chin up... what merit number are you?

i sent my vetting off in august/september and only cleared it a couple of weeks ago!

My vetting cleared pretty much within 2 weeks of submission but that was over a month ago and I'm still waiting.

Not sure what way they are processing entries...

Any1 else goin on 12 April ?

1st April? You sure it wasn't a bit of a prank??

You will stay in G'ville for 4 weeks, then you move out if you live within a 35 mile radius. They are talking of extending the radius even more though, so you could be in for a lot of travelling. There's a guy in our squad who lives in England who didn't get a room after the 4 weeks, yet a girl who lives approx 3 miles away did, because she can't drive. That logic confused a lot of people....

Whats the craic with staying on after the 4 weeks now then? I start on 12th April and Im coming from England so commuting is defo out

and my folks live about 60 miles from G'ville. Will I be able to stay on do you think?

lol sorry i ment the 12th april lol wrote that late on a saturday nite so excuse the mistakes lol ,, I live in Banbridge so id be just about on the boarder line but i cant drive so mayb i'll be allowed to stay.

Listening to all the people on here who were watchn their phone and waiting all day for the calls makes me feel lucky because i had forgot about it lol came as a total suprise but really happy now. Anyone got any advice on Garnerville?

Folks, I've said it before and I'll say it again, please please do not keep hassling the Vetting department. Its a long drawn out process. Deal with it. Nothing you can do to change it, and endless phone calls hold them up further.

Trust me on this one.

i am between 310-320. if you do the math (that 30% of applicants are RC, and assuming that RC do as well as non-RC in the AC etc, take that away from 310 and you get....about 220ish!) i am literally on the precipice! also I did my med back in November, last time i heard about vetting it wasn't cleared. i just want to have a bit of scream. ahhhh!!!

Vetting likely not cleared as they told me they work their way down the list more or less, that seems to be the norm..mine only passed recently and mine should have been straight forward....my merit was 160-175 non rc, so it prob is ongoing! but keep optimistic sounds like you are still in an appointable position to me!!:)

Anyone placing bets on when the calls will be going out next week? Wonder if they do them all in one day? Anyone know if they leave you a message should you not answer? I'm trying to swap my anxiousness for confidence......

I sure wish I was in the waiting room. My star sign for this coming week says that I would recieve a call about my dream job and that it would be good news. Obviously if your star sign is Cancer its looking good for you!!

If the last course for campaign 14 is in december (just using december as an example) and people havent been given a starting place will we receive dear john letters or will we possiby get a start date with some of the campaign 15?
Does it depend on if your merit score or if you've passed everything? Anyone have any idea - I know some of the campaign 13ers are starting on some of the campaign 14 courses.
Its a long way off i know - but i'm starting to worry about it already!

1979SD, that is encouraging to hear - but how reliable are your resources about rolling over to the subsequent campaign? I'm not doubting them but I have heard the opposite; that applicants that are not chosen do get a letter and the entire process starts from scratch again.
I hope that isn't the case, as you'd think all the time and money that was spent on vetting you and giving you a medical wouldn't go to waste!
I am so eager to hear if anyone gets a call this week.....:cool:

When I asked about getting the thanks but no thanks letter I was told that they are only sent out when all the spaces from the competition had been filled. Considering that Given1 has not long been offered his place from C13 that looks like it could be some time!
