The "What's That Song" Thread [ PLEASE READ ]

Due to a overwhelming litter of Song ID threads cluttering the forum.. from August 13th 2006, the forum now has a new policy on this.

Everything related to a song ID HAS to be posted in this thread and this thread only.

Any "what's that song" type posts made outside of this thread will be deleted without hesitation.

And also would like to avoid any real discussion in the thread besides requests for a song ID, identification of a song and acknowledge / thanks for the ID. Not really a strict policy on this but if i see a discussion going on for 10 posts about how great a particular song is or something to that effect, i will delete it due to simply cluttering up the thread.

Anyone know what the song is and it sounds like (Forgive the description) it's by Cat Stevens with the only bit of the lyrics I remember sound like 'boom, boom, boom, boom'. It's played a reasonable amount of time on easy listening radio shows and stuff. Any ideas?

Sounds like Cat Stevens or is definitely Cat Stevens? You could search on Youtube for Cat Stevens and see if it's there.

Simon and Garfunkel tune maybe? They sound a bit like Cat Stevens.

Any more description you could provide? Heard it in anything specific?

I can't seem to get a tune out of my head! I've only got a couple of lyrics. They're both in the chorus, I think, and it's a woman singing them:

"Why do you take life seriously?"

It was a very upbeat country tune, if that helps.

It's not Simon and Garfunkel as far as I know. I did the youtube thing with cat stevens didn't help.
My description sucks I know but there's gotta be someone out there who knows what I'm saying!
