I wish the Metro would stop masquerading as a 'newspaper' when its merely a collection of mysoginistic pictures of models and female celebs.

Look at the pictures in todays edition:
Front cover= Picture of Victoria Beckham and model type
Third page= some women wearing a bra pushing her breasts up in a sexually suggestive pose. Then theres some women on all fours, like a dog, wearing a bikini.
Fourth page=Irish Model Pippa O'Conner
Fifth page=Another model this time showing her bits.

Perhaps could we have a bit of gender variety? Or at least show that women do a bit more than shop,model or pose half naked .

I was reading it on the bus last year and there was a huge picture on page 3 of these three Irish models wearing lacy bra's and suspenders promoting the Burn energy drink.It was just page after page of female models/celebs. By the end of my bus journey I felt pretty sh*t about myself and my gender. All the pictures of men were politicians or famous sportsmen. The only pictures of women were of model/celeb types

This isnt just confined to The Metro, The Indo is just as bad.

Eh, that would be Debbie Magee. If she makes you feel insecure then I think you may have issues. There's also a pic of David Beckham almost in the buff on that page for the ladies.
