RIght I need suggestions on a good bottle of whiskey, it's a present for the brother in law who is Belgian. I want to get something that is not very available over seas. Not jamesons paddy or powers... They are common. Any ideas? Not spending a fecking fortune either, so none of your 25 year reserve fancy unheard of sh!te

bushmills distillery reserve unfortunately you have to go upto the distellery to buy it but you can have is name on the label for £6 lovely stuff though

You can get it in the old Dublin distilery too.

I'd go with a 12 year old red breast. Beautiful.

Redbreast 12 year old is definitely the best value for money, non standerd Whiskey on the market and is available in most supermarkets for aroudn 40-45 euro. This has been discussed over on the drinks forum in a best value for money thread and I think this was the common consensus.

The Jameson 12 year old is surprisingly dissapointing
