A glass of wine or a fruit based drink for the lady

My gf has recently taken to drinking a pint of the black stuff with a dash of blackcurrent of all things. Any suggestions on how to put a stop to this and to help return her to the more lady like drinks mentioned in the title..

The only way a friend of mine could drink Guinness was to drop a shot of jaegar into it first. Maybe you could try that?

Hey man I don't want to blow smoke up your ass but have you actually asked her if she was pregnant? Back in the day doctors would suggest women drink a Guinness and black currant because the iron was beneficial to growing babies and vitamin C helped to absorb the iron.

Confront her before you are lumbered with some progeny that might not even be yours or if it is will give you ample time to do your dash.

well my drink of choice is morgan's and coke (diet of course, i am a lady)

but 40% of the time it's a good ol pint of bulmers, none of that drinking-out-of-a-bottle sh1te.

Everyone here is approaching this from the wrong angle. There's nothing at all wrong with a woman drinking pints of Guinness, but the addition of blackcurrant is a crime against humanity. Once the OP realises this and manages to stamp it out the natural world order will be restored.

We're in a recession. You probably buy your missus a few drinks to be the gentleman and keep her sweet.

Guinness is one of the cheapest drinks!!

I remember working in a pub and there was this middle age couple who use to drink down the back near the taps. He'd have a pint of guinness and she'd have a double tia maria and coke. The price of her drink was huge compared to his simple guinness.

Actually the abv for drinks like WKD, Smirnoff Ice etc is higher than draught ciders and beers.
