Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

OLD Music Production FS, WTB & bargain alert/request thread.

This is following on from the recent thread on music production related items being allowed to be sold on the board like on some of the other specialised boards. Let's give it a go and see how it works. I was thinking we could incorporate some other goodies into it so that aside from items for sale it could be a tool for directly requesting items for sale and sharing bargains we find on our travels.

Please read and follow these rules (if the thread works I'll put the rules in the charter):

Fill the subject line properly so that it indicates what you're after:
    * "FS: Shure SM58" indicates you have a SM58 for sale.
    * "WTB Shure SM58" indicates you want to buy a SM58 from someone through the board.
    * "Bargain Alert SM58" means you've seen a SM58 at a price that's just too juicy not to share with your MP compadres.
    * "Bargain Request Shure SM58" means you'd like anyone who sees a SM58 at a bargain price to post the details (I'm guessing this might prove a popular one).

Please feel free to ask questions on this thread for now. When we get through that I'll clean it up and we'll try keep the commentary related to the above subjects only. Ready, steady go! :pac:

    Hmm, lets try this:

    WTB: Dunlop CryBaby Wah
WTB/Bargain Request: Fender Highway One Telecaster (Wine Red, Maple Neck) made in USA.

I don't think i've got anything to exchange. But maybe i could trade in my Roland MicroCube for the Wah... Maybe... Its in almost new condition (barely used it!).

Or maybe i could also exchange my Shure SM58 which is also in pretty much new condition (barely used this one aswell)...

    Or maybe also

FS/Swap: Novation Remote 25SL Compact MIDI controller Keyboard.
    This one: http://www.thomann.de/ie/novation_remote_25_sl_compact.htm
Its almost new (again barely used). And only ONLY if i get a good price.

You need a delta 10/10 to use this, if you don't have it's not much use to ya.

    Hi,

Stumbled over this w/site from the Propellerheads w/site a few months ago via a IMSTA anti piracy survey that they had advertised.. Didn't really examine it too closely at the time.. Bit they seem to be 100% being linked with IMSTA & all the other developers & software companies.

Anyway.. Just found a link to it in my favourites. They have a shop which looks to be selling plugins at US $ prices.

    http://store.dontcrack.com/index.php?cPath=4

If its electronic delivery (download) you can obviously get it straight away.. No shipping costs.

SOOO... There appears to be good value.

Looking at the PSP stuff as an example.. Most of their delays / EQ's etc.. are selling for $135 - which is about €95.

I've already got the Vintage Warmer.. which I think worked out at about €160ish in the end.. PSP have $$'s without tax on their w/site shop & then charge you in Euro with add tax at the end.. BOOM! Nice!

    I'm temped to get something..

Registered on the w/site just there.. Went all the way though to Paypal.. but didnt log in. The total I got from Don't Crac[k] for the PSP Nitro was just the total price quoted $135 - €95.. Which would have to be about €160ish from PSP direct. It didnt seem to be going to wallop me with a load of tax at the end.. which was cool.

I dunno.. Dont really need anything at the moment.. but I wouldnt mind getting some sort of filter-y thing maybe, if I was forced. Had a demo of it a while back & it was pretty interesting :pac: :pac:

To cut a long story short.. Does anyone know anything about this w/site?

There is nothing really on the net about it - I see the forums alright.. the whole thing looks to be kosher.. but I just want to know if any of you have any experiences with them before I try buying anything from them.
They've a bit of stuff in the shop there.. would be pretty cool to be able to pay $$'s and all that!!

    Quote from w/site..

    Taxes
As DontCrac[k] is located in Canada, taxes will only be charged to Canadian residents.

Residents outside of Canada will simply not be charged any taxes!

    Thoughts?

    Then this..
