I like this one a lot personally, lucky that i had the camera sitting on the table....

The zoom on my kit lens isn't exactly super, so the larger version of this is probably not far off a 100% crop. This is my first attempt at anything you could call ''street photography''.

This is my friend Jennifer sitting in a darkened pub, i tried to do some retouching but photoshop wasn't cooperating, so this is pretty much unprocessed.

Agreed! Although i am very bitter over the first one! I want something really nice for the first photo in my sister's wedding album and I'm never even going to get close to that kind of creativity!

With the weather been so bad lately down here in Cork I started doing most of my shooting at night and trying to get to grips with it has been loads of fun!

That's really cool. I'm sure those more skilled than myself could point our a few technical areas for improvement (such as the slight grain in the sky), but I think the overall effect looks fantastic. I also like the way you've recorded all that movement against the static Stop sign. Very cool.

Is the star-like effect on the lights just a result of long exposure, or are those altered in Photoshop?
