right click on the exe and run as admin that should fix the windows error

The 2nd error is just because your key hasnt been entered. Once you enter it in right, it should be ok. At least thats what happened to me.

the printing of some codes has been pretty shitty, some O's look like D's and 8's like B's etc. try a few different permutations

Yes, there has been loads of issues with the printing of codes. Sucks tbh.

Are you using a Hotmail email address by any chance?

There were/are issues with registering when the email supplied is a hotmail address.
