I +1 the +1. Even if I agree with him about Eve outside of the humour, it's so counter-productive to feel angry at Yahtzee. Hey, he ripped Oblivion a new one but I still loved the review.

The responses from a few EVE fans earlier in the thread are clearly what Yahtzee wants. He loves infuriating gamers and his mailbag review (one of his best shows) is indicative of that. Getting your knickers in a twist over a Yahtzee review is the same as feeding a troll

MMORPG games are ripe for taking the piss out of. They all take themselves incredibly seriously and demand a lot of time and commitment from players.

His taste in games seems to match mine pretty well - i.e. I hate all RPG's, MMO or not. Fable is a notable exception but that's more of a hack-n-slash action game than an RPG.

You know what's most surprising? That he has a girlfriend

I kid, I kid. That's a spot on mimic of what the Ctrl,Alt,Delete comics are like. He really doesn't spare the knife with that comic.

You have to love when Yahtzee has nothing but contempt for a game, always makes for a golden review. I don't know anything about the game, but one of the most enjoyable reviews in a while for me.

The most ironic was when he was reviewing EVE and the EVE ads were surrounding the video. Admittedly, any mention on Zero Puncuation is amongst the best publicity a lot of games get.

In fairness. it's a little rich for Yahtzee to complain that a studio didn't release a sequal when if they did he'd criticize them for not being inventive

Well a sequel to a game acknowledged as being inventive, creative & something beyond the norm is better than a cookie-cutter "gruff spacemarine in armour" shooter.

I disagree. Too Human is an attempt (alebeit a flawed one) by developers to create a brand new game with its own identity. The twats are the people who release lousy movie tie in games e.g. Transformers or flog a franchise to death by releasing sequel after sequel e.g. nearly every recent shooter.

That's what Too Human was trying to achieve also. It's been billed as the first of a trilogy. Some speculate that they've held back on features in order to have a selling point for the next games. But, if this one isn't a success, it's possible the remaining parts won't come out at all.

I'm still waiting for Shenmue 3-5 tbh.
