Economic upturn : How i made a profit by going to Tesco

So while in tesco last night, picked up some stuff (is any other boardsie obsessed with those cheap bacon-pep crisps??) and went to the auld self service checkout. paid and all with a 20 note, went to collect my change and off i went, back in the car i noticed i now posessed a 10er, 2 fivers and 1.20 in coins, i had made a profit by going to tesco

i still remember the day in college when i went to the vending machine and all but one row was empty. I picked something but it turned out the row wasn't working. Then i tried to get my change but the refund button wasn't working.

i'd put 2 euro in and so i said to myself i might as well get some money back and i picked one of the empty ones that was 1.50. It spun and i waited for my 50 cent to come out but about 30 euro did. Made my day

Yeah. It happened in my school. The machine wouldn't give back your money, someone ended up leaving 1.30 in there. He could've got another choccie bar but left. I pop in 50c. I'm richer.

picked up a dvd in tesco tonight [once upon atime in america ]from the warner bros range ....between 4.95 and 6.95 [good value]
went to pay for it and it wouldnt scan so a manager was called to get a price .comes back and says he cant sell it to me because it dos,nt have a price on the system .
whats this got to do with making profit from tesco i hear you say .
well it was an impulse buy and i probably would have left it in its wrapper and never watched it or someone would have borrowed it and never seen it again .

I know students probably have no interest in vegetables ... but at the self service checkout, input stuff like brocolli (around €1.50 or so) as an onion and save yerself a euro. Just don't let them spot you doing it too often, as they pulled me up on it.

Note: You don't have to be a student to take part in this activity. Grown ups can be robbing bastards too.

Lol i used to do this but my favourite thing was when in supermarkets with those weighing scales things for veggies. I used to hold the veggies a little lighter on the scales and save myself a few cent :P:P
